The September ASHE event is a surface mine tour of Bluegrass ‘Texas Quarry’ pit and plants. The tour will include a presentation (history, production numbers, issues). Attendees will be driven around the site and will see some large mobile equipment staged at various locations.

Date: Tuesday, September 20, 2016

What safety equipment should you bring? Hardhat, safety glasses, long pants, sleeved (long or short) shirt, and hi-visibility vest. Solid, closed toe shoes or boots are mandatory. Steel-toed boots are not required. Sunglasses and clothes you can get dirty are suggested.
Where does the tour start and stop? A shuttle bus will take everyone to/from the parking area of Wallace Montgomery’s office which is nearby at 10150 York Road, Cockeysville, MD.
